Southwest High Career Fair Event Details

Southwest High School in Minneapolis is seeking businesses and organizations to participate in  our upcoming interactive career fair for students on April 18 from 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Our goal is to recruit 80+ businesses and organizations that represent a wide range of communities and professional backgrounds to share information about current or future opportunities at their organizations – along with personal career journey stories – with 9th and 10th grade students as they explore different post-secondary career pathways.

We’ll provide you with a booth, enthusiastic students and structured time! We ask that you come prepared with materials and information about your industry (and if comfortable, your personal journey), and, encourage you to be creative in showcasing your industry. Handouts, giveaways and interactive opportunities and materials are encouraged.

No matter your field, you have valuable experience, perspectives and connections that can help students take the first step toward great careers or discover new fields. We hope you will join us!
