Get Engaged

The success of Minneapolis students depends on strong community support from each and every one of us! We create opportunities for individuals and groups to make a difference for youth as volunteers, employers, donors and partners. We also convene our community on key education issues to help increase engagement and advocacy for strong public schools and a brighter future for our youth. Check out these great ways you can support Minneapolis students:

Volunteer with Students

Career Fair Presenters: Share your career with members of our future workforce! Present to students about what training is required for your career, what the highlights and challenges of your job are, and what students can do to further explore this career. Graduation Coaches: Our Graduation Coaches provide personalized mentoring to help students graduate on time and plan for life after high school. Students benefit from a positive relationship with an adult outside of the family, gain confidence and build connections with their peers and school community. Check back in June for information about our 2016-17 program.

STEP-UP Mock Interviews: Join professionals from across the city April 11-15 at the Minneapolis Convention Center for four whirlwind evenings of mock interviews with STEP-UP student interns.
