Career & College Readiness Programs
Step Up provides work-readiness training, paid internships and professional mentoring to nearly 1,400 Minneapolis youth each year. Step Up is a partnership of AchieveMpls, the City of Minneapolis, Career Force Minneapolis and Project for Pride in Living in collaboration with over 200 top Twin Cities employers.

In 2020 we administered and awarded 71 college scholarships totaling over $170,000 for MPS students to pursue postsecondary education.

Grants are available from AchieveMpls and partner organizations for MPS teachers and staff that support professional development opportunities, classroom activities and field trip transportation.
