Step Up is preparing tomorrow's workforce today
Step Up brings together Minneapolis young people (ages 14-21) with Twin Cities employers through internships and training that build careers and lead to a diverse, skilled and equitable workforce. Since 2003, Step Up has created over 30,000 high-quality internship opportunities.
We equip young people to create bright futures through work readiness training, paid in-person and online internships and other career exploration opportunities, and connections with adult mentors who can help them achieve their career goals and become our next generation of community leaders.
We help employers in 15 industries diversify their workforce and build a strong base of young, skilled workers who can keep our future regional economy and our communities strong and vibrant.
Step Up is a partnership of the City of Minneapolis, AchieveMpls, CareerForce Minneapolis and Project for Pride in Living.
