Sarah (she/her) began her commitment to public education during her time as an AmeriCorps volunteer, where she served as a tutor and mentor at Edison High School. Sarah has also worked with transition-aged students (ages 18-21) in several Twin Cities metro districts, with a primary focus on employment services. She is excited to be back serving students in Minneapolis Public Schools!

Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota and a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas.

A native of the Twin Cities, she currently lives in the Wenonah neighborhood of Minneapolis with her daughter and dog. She enjoys most outdoor adventures and is especially fond of paddle boarding on a secret lake in St. Paul. You can find Sarah in the football stands cheering for the Gophers (Rah!) or Vikings (Skol!) , and on warm days is likely hosting a backyard BBQ.
