Zoey Haines became our first Career & College Center coordinator at Central High School when we expanded into Saint Paul Public Schools last fall. Now after working one-on-one with students in her busy college and career resource center, she's collaborating with the Central team to provide remote support to students during COVID-19.
Our Roosevelt High Career & College Center team is busy staying in touch with seniors, contacting families about their technology needs and providing critical career and college planning support during COVID-19.
At South High School, our team is collaborating with school counselors and GEAR-UP staff to provide FAFSA support, scholarship advising and other guidance for students in their college and career planning pathways.
Minneapolis Educator Leadership Awards (MELA) provide project grants for MPS teachers and staff to impact student achievement and improve school communities. Nominations are due January 24.
