Erin brings nearly 10 years of experience in human services to her role at AchieveMpls. Erin got her start interning at the National MS Society in Youth and Family Programs. After completing her B.A. at the University of St. Thomas in 2011, she was an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow, serving youth with emotional-behavioral disorders in Saint Paul Public Schools through social-emotional learning, academic engagement, career readiness and life skill development. After finishing her year of service, she helped expand the program over the next several years.
Erin earned dual Master of Business Administration and Master of Social Work degrees from Augsburg University with a focus on multi-cultural program development and management. She also holds a master’s level certificate in human services management and is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. As a graduate student intern, Erin worked with children and families at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, and at a child maltreatment prevention program with the Otto Bremer Trust Center for Safe and Healthy Children.
Erin serves on the Young Professionals Board for YouthLink and the Board of Directors for the Association for Macro Practice Social Workers.
