Camille is a graduate of Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) and an alum of the Step Up youth employment program. Camille worked as a Step Up intern in the office of former Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak in the early years of the program. She went on to study political science at Macalester College, where she focused her course work and college internships on domestic politics, agriculture policy, and local sustainability programs, including early farm-to-school programs.
Camille has worked with MPS students through the AVID program and as a reserve classroom teacher. She also helped start and develop a small local food company, marrying her passion for local and sustainable agriculture with her love of food. She is excited to return to the Step Up program and continue to invest her time and passion in developing a strong and sustainable local workforce and economy here in the Twin Cities.
