As manager of strategic resource development for Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS), Andy works with MPS staff to coordinate and implement all private sector funding activities that support MPS strategic priorities. Prior to Achieve, he led postsecondary policy and program initiatives with the New York City Department of Education. His past work also includes college admissions and counseling in Minneapolis and Chicago.

A K-12 graduate of Minneapolis Public Schools, Andy holds a bachelor's degree in history and American studies from St. Olaf College and a master's degree in education policy from Teachers College, Columbia University. He lives in the St. Anthony Main neighborhood of Minneapolis.
