Terron is a recent graduate of the Minnesota Internship Center Charter High School, and spent the past three summers working for U.S. Bank through STEP-UP Achieve.  “I always knew what US Bank was, but I never thought I could work at a financial institution,” says Terron.  “I applied to STEP-UP Achieve because I wanted to earn some money—but once I met everyone I realized that it was much more than just a summer job.”  Terron credits his three summers at U.S. Bank headquarters for helping him gain critical workplace skills that helped him take the next steps in his education and career plans. “STEP-UP Achieve helped me get a jump start in building my resume, building my ethics, my maturity, my professional appearance, my speech.”  Today Terron is a great networker and confident speaker.

Terron plans to further his education and pursue a career in IT and software development.  At U.S. Bank he particularly enjoyed helping coworkers fix their computers, and hopes to return to the company one day as a full-time worker.
