Welcome back, STEP-UP alumni – we’re glad you found us!

STEP-UP began as a pilot program in 2004 and our first participants have now graduated from college and entered the workforce. The impact of STEP-UP on career and college preparation can last years after the internship ends.  Many keep in touch with their supervisors and use them as references to help find jobs in the same industry.  And several interns report that they have returned to work again with their STEP-UP employer!

The STEP-UP Alumni Network is here to support you in your next stage of professional development. It’s open to those who have successfully completed a STEP-UP summer job and are no longer eligible to participate in the program either because they are either over 21 or are in college.

Here are some ways to get connected:

• Join our STEP-UP Alumni Network Facebook page to stay in touch with your STEP-UP friends and learn about new job opportunities and resources.
• Give back to STEP-UP by mentoring or supporting current interns. Call us at 612.455.1550 to learn more.
• Help spread the word about STEP-UP! Share your STEP-UP story for our website or e-newsletter to encourage more young people and employers to participate.
