Welcome back, STEP-UP alumni – we’re glad you found us!

STEP-UP began as a pilot program in 2004 and our first participants are now graduating from college and entering the workforce. These former interns have continued to enjoy the benefits of STEP-UP Achieve long after their summer jobs ended. 70% are pursuing a college degree and an additional 17% have already graduated from college. 61% are still in touch with a supervisor or co-worker from their internship and 33% have returned to work again with their STEP-UP employer.

The STEP-UP Alumni Network is here to support our alums in their next stage of professional development. It’s open to those who have successfully completed a STEP-UP summer job and are no longer eligible to participate in the program either because they are over 21 or are in college.

Here are some ways to get connected:

• Join our new STEP-UP Alumni Network Facebook page to stay in touch with your STEP-UP friends and learn about new job opportunities and resources.
• Give back to STEP-UP by mentoring or supporting current interns. Call us at 612.455.1550 to learn more.
• Help spread the word about STEP-UP! Share your STEP-UP story for our website or e-newsletter to encourage more young people and employers to participate.
