There’s no better way to get engaged with the Minneapolis Public Schools and students than to attend a community event. We believe that truly engaged citizens take the time to learn about the issues they’re concerned about. AchieveMpls provides several learning opportunities to meet all needs and schedules.
Our City, Our Schools Community Forums
Each month, AchieveMpls offers a public forum for the community to hear from knowledgeable speakers and share their own views on a variety of education topics. Forum subjects include the achievement gap, teacher evaluation, alternative certification and many more topics. Find the next forum date on our events calendar.
Lunch ‘n’ Learns
These small-group discussions are held at your workplace, and focus on an education topic of your choice. Contact Rebecca Noecker at rnoecker@achievempls.org to schedule a Lunch ‘n’ Learn for your organization.
