AchieveMpls has been a trusted partner of the Assistance League of Minneapolis/ St. Paul for many years, helping to administer our educational grant program.

Each year Minneapolis Public School (MPS) teachers and staff  submit 30-70 grant proposals to the Assistance League, hoping to gain funding for innovative educational programs. Gina Rysdon of AchieveMpls facilitates communication with MPS for the grant application process, making applications available, answering questions and collecting and organizing the applications. She also reads the grants and flags those that do not meet the our criteria.

This year we awarded nearly $12,000 through 18 grants. At the Grant Awards Ceremony, Gina was there right alongside Assistance League members to applaud the recipients and hear them talk about their unique grant funded programs. To further the spirit of partnership, representatives from AchieveMpls also volunteered at The ALMSP school uniform distribution, part of  Assistance League’s “Clothes for Kids” philanthropic program.

We are very thankful for this partnership with AchieveMpls. We invite you to learn more about our work at
